The practitioner
Mr Thomson qualified with a degree in podiatry from the London Foot Hospital a part of the University College London (UCL) medical school. He has since worked for the NHS and the private sector in London, Somerset and Bath. He has gained a broad range of expereince from a private sports injury clinic in London to specialist NHS diabetic foot ulcer clinics, as well as helping commission a government funded diabetic foot clinic in Kuwait.
Mr Thomson prides himself in offering a very thorough service and takes a preventative approach to dealing with foot problems, enabling his patients to extend the pain free time between appointments where possible.
Patients with any foot problem from the most minor to the most severe are catered for and good liason with the patients GP and other health care professionals in the NHS and private sector ensure the patient has the best possible care.

Visiting the clinic
The Clinic is at the round-about end of Castle Street very close to the 2 hour free parking in the Castle Place multi-story car park and the pay and display car park by the round-about.
If travelling by bus the clinic is just 100 meters along from the main bus stand outside Castle Place Shopping Centre.
The home visiting service
An emergency only home visiting service is offered for patients unable to attend the clinic but the clinic is not able to take ongoing home visit patients. In all cases it is much better for them if the patient can make it to the clinic and arrangements for out of hour clinic appointments can be made to enable relatives to bring them. Do call the clinic to discuss your specific needs and we will try to meet them.
