The practice
Clifton Podiatry Practice at The Walking Clinic offers a wide range of treatment for foot and foot-related conditions. We specialise in the treatment of subtle mechanical disorders of walking.
We treat pain, in the heel, forefoot, ankle, shin and knee. We are particularly interested in mechanical low back pain that worsens on walking.
We are also enthusiastic about performance. Walk better, further, for less effort, and less wear and tear.
We evaluate children's gait-style, particularly where there is a family history of foot and walking-related problems, or where posture seems poor, with round-shoulders, slouching and clumsiness.
The Walking Clinic has its own dedicated orthotics laboratory. We don't contract out the making of orthoses (neither do we manufacture them for anyone else).
In addition to orthoses we also adjust and mobilise joints in the foot and leg and restore muscle-balance about the ankle.
Routine Chiropody/Footcare: The practice undertakes all standard chiropody and podiatry procedures - corns, calluses, fungal nails etc.
Ingrowing toenails: We offer painless curative plastic surgery, please call the clinic for more info and prices.
