The Consultant
Podiatrist
The clinic is run
by Mr. Jason Nandlal, a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon with over
20 years of both private and NHS experience in foot surgery, biomechanics,
orthotic prescription, diabetic/rheumatoid foot care and other
treatment specialties within podiatry.
Electrosurgery is a
particular interest having helped develop this technique of pain
free and effective treatment of corns and verrucae.
Biomechanics is undertaken
for all patients from young children to athletes with sports injuries
to those with chronic heel pain. Both bespoke and semi bespoke
orthotics (custom insoles) are available as part of biomechanical
treatment.
Surgical consultations
are undertaken on site, or at the BMI The Garden Hospital in Hendon,
London NW4 where Mr. Nandlal is on the consulting staff. Surgery
is performed in either their own day case theatre or for patients
with health insurance at The Garden Hospital. Most foot surgery
is undertaken as day case procedures under local anaesthetic meaning
an overnight stay in hospital is not usually required.

8422 1444. Most Podiatric procedure are covered by Health Insurance
Companies if a GP referral to Mr. Nandlal is provided. Bunions,
hammer toes and neuromas are all conditions that can be addressed
by surgery either self funded or under most health insurance policies.
The Consulting
Room
The modern clinic is
very well equipped to deal with any imaginable injury or pain
suffered involving the lower limb. X-ray facilities are available
at a special rate from the local hospital, which will help the
clinician to determine the cause of the problem, while foot casting
for custom made orthotics, manipulation and sound advice are combined
in the consultation.

is very easy to reach by car, bus or tube. It is situated 1 mile
from East Barnet Village or if coming from London the clinic is
just one mile from High Barnet tube station on the Northern Line,
by bus number 326.
