The podiatrist
Michelle qualified as a podiatrist in 1997 and has been working in the NHS and privately since. She is registered with the Health Professions Council and is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. She is qualified to diagnose a wide range of foot complaints and has specialised in the area of biomechanics.
Biomechanics is the study of the foot and lower limb in motion. Podiatrists are trained to identify foot and lower limb faults which may lead to pain or deformity within the body. Orthoses (special insoles), strapping and exercises are prescibed to improve one's alignment.
Conditions commonly seen include:
- Flat feet
- Highly arched feet
- Plantar fasciitis
- Sports injuries

- Hypermobility
- Limb length differences
The Complete Health Centre offers treatments in many other disciplines for a fully holistic approach
