The
Practice
Mercury Biomechanics specialise in treating people from all walks of life who have foot pain; or problems with their walking or running which is causing pain in their feet or legs. All ages are treated and assessment includes video gait analysis.
The practice is owned by Marcia Hammond, who has a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Podiatry from the University of Brighton. Marcia specialises in that branch of Podiatry known as Biomechanics.
Treatment of other foot complaints, such as corns, calluses and ingrowing toenails are also undertaken.
Visiting
the clinic
One hour is required for biomechanical assessment. General podiatry (chiropody) appointment are for 30 minutes, and 15 minute nailcutting only appointments are also available.
Directions: The Holistic Centre is just off Bridge Street, not far from Waitrose. If walking from Waitrose towards the town centre, it is on your right just before the knitting shop. There is very limited parking at the Centre, but if shopping at Waitrose, parking is available there for 2 hours, or in the public car parks.
