Section 15 of the HPC's Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics (SCPE's), view here, states "Any advertising you do in relation to your professional activities must be accurate. Any advertisements must not be misleading, false, unfair or exaggerated." Stating your qualifications inaccurately would constitute a breach of this and would be taken seriously by the HPC. Any applications that we receive where an inaccuracy is found, or where we have been alerted that an inaccuracy might exist in an advert, will be forwarded to the HPC. Your HPC registration is at risk if you breach the standards of conduct.

As per section 15 of the HPC's Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics '...you should not claim your personal skills, equipment or facilities are better than anyone else’s unless you can prove that this is true'. However if you are particularly interested in an area of podiatry, e.g. you have invested in the latest biomechanics equipment for your clinic, then this can be emphasised to some degree, so mention it below.
