The Podiatrist
Mark Freedman qualified
from The Department of Podiatry at The University of Brighton
in June 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Podiatry,
which includes a licence to administer local anaesthetic, essential
for in-growing toenail operations.
After qualifying, Mark
Freedman spent two years working for the NHS until July 1996 when
he took over the Chingford Podiatry Centre which was originally
established in 1982. He still works part time for the NHS and
other organisations and is also the Podiatrist for a Premier League
Football Club.
Mark Freedman regularly
attends conferences and courses on all aspects of Podiatry and
specialises in biomechanics and sports injuries.
The clinic
The modern clinic is
situated within the Co-op Pharmacy at the main cross-roads of
Chingford Mount. If coming by car Chingford is just off the North
Circular Road (A406) and parking is available nearby. If coming
by bus, numbers 97, 158, 215, 357, 444, W16 all stop near the
clinic at the Chingford Mount cross-roads.
The visiting
service
Home visits can be
arranged in the Waltham Forest and Redbridge boroughs of London
and also in the nearby E4, IG9 and IG10 areas of Essex. As well
as private homes Mr Freedman also visits residential homes and
elderly day centres. Please call for details or to book an appointment.
