The Podiatrists
The clinic is run by
Mrs Diane Nicholl BSc, MBCP, SRCh, MChS. She is a very experienced
Podiatrist with a large amount of training and experience in biomechanics
and other treatment specialities within podiatry. Sports injuries
are a particular interest and the level of equipment held in the
clinic reflects this.
Other Podiatrists work
alongside Mrs Nicholl all of whom are experienced State Registered
Chiropodists with interests in the sports injuries and biomechanics
field.
As well as biomechanics,
the field of podiatric surgery is well represented with two podiatric
surgeons working at this clinic. Surgical assessments are undertaken
on site while the surgery itself is performed at The London Welbeck
Hospital near Harley Street.
Also working as part
of the team here are qualified osteopaths and a sports massage
therapist who can contribute to your treatment where necessary.
The clinic
The modern clinic is
very well equipped to deal with any imaginable injury or pain
suffered involving the lower limb. Video and computerised gait
analysis along with X-ray on site, help the clinicians to determine
the cause of the problem, while foot casting for custom made orthotics,
laser therapy, manipulation and sound advice are combined in the
treatment.
While there is an emphasis
on sports injuries all foot related problems are cared for and
clients are welcomed for regular chiropody treatment. Patient's
with varuccae (warts) are welcomed and treatment is performed
using either electrosurgery, cryosurgery or chemical theraphy.
