The Podiatrist

I graduated with Honours in Podiatric Medicine from the Chelsea School of Chiropody in 1998. I have worked as a Podiatrist across the public and private health care sectors in health centres, GP practices, hospitals and residential homes.

I have undertaken additional training in biomechanics, podiatric acupuncture and reflexology and continue to develop my professional expertise though attendance at postgraduate courses.

Services

The Clinic believes in a holistic approach to health . Providing chiropody and podiatry treatments. This includes nail care, ingrown nails, corns and callus / callous, cracked heels, verruca, thicken nails and athletes foot.

My aim to treat all your foot problems to leave you walking on air! Biomechanical appointments where you have foot and leg pains and we assess you for orthotics, the appointments last one hour.

I conduct gait anaysis and see adults with foot, leg, knee or back pain, sports injuries/ pains.

I assess children who may be flat footed or walk on tip toes for example. We can provide a range of foot orthosis and insoles as appropriate.

Ingrown and infected nails can often be resolved simply and fairly painlessly in a normal appointment.. If they are persistent, very painful or weeping, we can remove them under local anaesthetic to prevent them coming back again.

I can freeze verrucas with a cryospray or use strong chemicals to eradicate them.

The clinic

Please note the entrance to the Clinic is in Chippenham Road. The Clinic is located in the Neighbourhood Enterprise Centre adjoining St Peter’s Church. This is the brown brick building on the corner of Elgin Avenue and Chippenham Road.

The visiting service

Visits can be arranged to your Day Centre or Residential/Nursing Home or place of work or residence within the London boroughs of Camden, Islington, Southwark, Lambeth, Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Lewisham, Newham, Corporation of London (City) Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea by arrangement.
