The Podiatrist

Mrs Broomhead provides a local podiatry service, from the clinic and with home visits, based in the Urmston/Flixton and Davyhulme area of Greater Manchester.

As a State Registered Chiropodist/Podiatrist she provides both basic foot care services and general foot care advice through to nail surgery, either part nail or total nail removal. This includes treatment of verrucae, fungal infections both on the foot and the nails, treatment for removal of callus and corns. A biomechanical service is also provided including prescription orthotics where needed. This incorporates the treatment of some causes of lower back pain, knee pain, shinsplints and other lower limb pains. Podopeadiatrics(children)and Sport orthotics are also available, as well as providing details of specialists in these fields.

Other professionals work in the clinic including physiotherapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, sports therapists, aromatherapist, nutritionist, speech therapist, massage therapists and many more.

Outside of the clinic Mrs Broomhead works as part of a multidisciplinary team, with local doctors, a district nurse and specialist clinics, so providing the best all round care for the client.

Visiting the clinic

The Urmston clinic is based 2 minutes from the M60, close to the Trafford Centre, with easy parking opposite the clinic. Buses run regularly to the town centre of Urmston, with the major bus stops being at the clinic door (numbers 20,22 15 and 14). The clinic is situated opposite the library, in the Doctors clinic.
