The Podiatrist
Anne Stephens has over
28 years experience within the podiatry profession in both NHS
and the independent sectors. Since qualifying in 1976, she has
held a number of roles, working in a variety of hospitals and
clinics, managing service provision within the NHS and teaching
undergraduate students at the London Foot Hospital. She holds
a certificate in the administration of local analgesia and the
administration and supply of prescription medicines and is a management
fellow of the College of Podiatry.
Miss Stephens took
over two surgeries in April 2004, one in her home town of Grantham
and the other in nearby Stamford. She offers a range of podiatry
interventions including assessment and the treatment of corns,
callus and hard skin, nail problems, biochemical assessment and
orthotic provision, cryosurgery for veruccae and nail surgery
under local anaethetic for the treatment for ingrown toenails.
She is also able to
advise on footwear problems and to make referals within the independent
sector for surgical correction of bone abnormalities.
Kaseem Jarved, Miss
Stephen's associate and an experienced podiatrist from the Peterborough
area also provides a full range of podiatric interventions and
treatments within the practice.
Visiting
the clinic
The clinic is situated
on St Leonards Street, close to the High Street, in the courtyard
behind the clock and watch restorers shop. A pay and display car
park is situated almost opposite the surgery.
