AAPodiatrists

A&A Podiatrists are based in a modern clinic in Radlett.

"We have a clinic for chiropody and podiatry treatment. This includes nail care, ingrown nails, corns and callus / callous, cracked heels, verruca, thick nails and athletes foot.

"Our second treatment room contains a treadmill and this is used to conduct gait analysis. We see adults with foot, leg, knee or back pain, sports injuries & pains. We have a specialist children's clinic in conjunction with a paediatric physiotherapist to provide a holistic approach and intensive treatment options. We assess children who may be flat footed or walk on tip toes for example. We can provide a range of foot orthosis and insoles as appropriate.

"We offer the Pedique cosmetic nail replacement treatment which is excellent if you have lost a nail, or your nail is unsightly, damaged or does not grow correctly. Suitable for both men and women. This works best of you have some nail remaining and can last between 3 and 8 months.

"A Podospray wet drill technique is used to providing excellent thinning of thickened nails and excellent removal of painful corns. Especially beneficial on filing heel cracks without burning.

"At A&A Podiatrists we treat you as an individual and our treatments take your particular circumstances into account. From toenail trimming to ingrown toenail removal we remember that 'you are more than just a foot'.

"We aim to treat all your foot problems to leave you walking on air! Biomechanical appointments where we assess you for foot and leg pains or orthotics last one hour.

"Ingrown and infected nails can often be resolved simply and fairly painlessly in a normal appointment. If they are persistent, very painful or weeping, we can remove them under local anaesthetic to prevent them coming back again if necessary. We can freeze verrucas with a cryospray or use strong chemicals to eradicate them. We can also cut out verrucas using curettage for long standing persistent verrucae."

The clinic

The practice is situated in 9 Station Road which is easy to reach by car, bus or train. Station Road is off the main Watling Street and Palmers Estate Agents are on the corner.
